ASSOS - very functional bike clothing

Christian, our CEO, who toured from Munich to Sicily by bike was the years before also always on saddle in the city. But he had never used special bike wear. On the crazy adventure tour with our heavy handmade bike caravan he wanted to save his behind where he can. Furthermore he didn't want to sweat unnecessarily pulling 440 pounds only with muscle power over Alps & Apennines and the other hills on the 1500 miles long tour. In the past we relied on our natural sense of orientation. But for the crazy adventure tour though europe with an heavy handmade bike caravan we wanted to use modern navigation technologies. Cause we are most of the time not on asphalted roads, we looked for a real outdoor GPS. We found a good one, the MYNAV 600 professional.

Normal mobile phones are way too delicate for us. Especially nowadays where there is more and more crap around. You buy a new phone, it falls down and there's a crack on the display. You are surprised by a thunderstorm and the surprise is complete when you want to check your messages and the only news is: It's over. Game Over.

Our Outdoor Test:

We have used it over three years in the sicilian jungle, it has fallen down plenty of times, survived loads of dust, mud and water during pioneer work - while the strong radio entertained us as well. The radio is not only for fun, it can be very useful for weather forecasts too. When the weather was fine we used it also on the sunny beach in Sicily - and took some photos, over and under the water surface. After work and free time on the beach, the bright LED light has always been very useful at night.

The Eco Adventure Hill you'll find in the middle of the greenest nature area of the sunny island - on the north side of Sicily - directly in the front of the *Aeolian Islands*.

The most common point of view below our Adventure Hil is *Tindari*, a very famous sanctuary. Underneath in Locanda there is one of the best locals, called "Pane e Vino", with all the cheese and sausages of the region, delicious barbecues and good house wines as well as weekly Sicilian live music.

From there a few hundred meters up you come to the small mountain village *Scala di Patti* with picturesque landscape - and just above there is our wild land, which you enter in the *Contrada Lupa* (the way of the wolves)...
